A woman charged with murdering a man in Napier last month can now be named.

Eraita Nohopapa Cooper, 26, from Napier, was arrested after the incident in Marewa on Friday, January 16.

Emergency services were called to a Savage Cres property late that morning, after reports a man had been
assaulted.

Nikora Edmonds died at the scene.

Cooper was arrested at the scene and charged with murder.
