Prime Video’s Young Sherlock stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin as 19-year-old Sherlock Holmes. The rest of the core cast is rounded up by Zine Tseng as Princess Gulun Shou’an and Dónal Finn as James Moriarty, Holmes’s future archrival.

Plenty of other familiar faces are also in the cast, including thee Colin Firth as Sir Bucephalus Hodge and Fiennes’s own uncle, Joseph Fiennes, whom you might recognize from The Handmaid’s Tale or 1998’s Shakespeare in Love, portraying Sherlock Holmes’s father, Silas Holmes. (Yes, that’s the brother of Hero’s other uncle, Ralph Fiennes, whom you probably remember as Voldemort in the Harry Potter film saga, among many other projects).

On the other hand, Natascha McElhone (Californication, The Truman Show, Halo) takes on the role of Holmes’s mother, as Cordelia Holmes, while Max Irons (Red Riding Hood, Dorian Gray) plays Sherlock’s older brother, Mycroft Holmes.

Additional casting includes Numan Acar, Ravi Aujla, Holly Cattle, Simon Delaney, Adam James, Rachel Shelley, Ian Midlane, Iris Li, James Sobol Kelly, Stephen Agnew, Chloe Acland, Adam Basil, Jessica Zhou, and more.
