A triple-vehicle crash in Upper Hutt has blocked State Highway 2 in both directions.
Police said they were informed of the incident in Kaitoke around 4pm.
The road is blocked while emergency services attend the scene, and there are no diversions in place.
NZ Transport Agency said the road was
closed at the Waterworks Rd intersection, and advised motorists to follow the directions of on-site emergency services.
