Aotearoa is at least a decade behind in blood cancer treatments, and that is driving highly trained doctors off shore, as well as patients according, a New Zealand haematologist working in Australia. It comes as blood cancer patients with Meyloma are forced to move to Australia to get drugs that cost hundred of thousands of dollars here but are virutally free across the Tasman.
