Launched into Early Access on Steam back in 2023, Yodubzz Studios’ open-world isometric apocalyptic sandbox game HumanitZ has exited Early Access and launched in full with a hoard of new content. Plus, you can take advantage of the 40% time-limited discount, or check out the game’s demo.
Civilization shattered in the wake of a zombie outbreak, leaving humanity an endangered species in a world now ruled by ‘zeeks.’ Survivors fight against hunger, exposure, infection, and the relentless undead in an unforgiving landscape growing more hostile by the day.
In HumanitZ, you can choose to face the end of the world alone, or alongside other survivors. Scavenge the ruins of Anywhere, USA, or escape to the wilderness to farm, hunt, and fish in single-player or online co-op, with both PvE and PvP experiences supported across dedicated and player-hosted servers. Craft weapons, life-saving consumables, and fortified shelters to hide from the infected, who have grown more ferocious, twice as deadly, and even more starved for human flesh.
Since Early Access, Yodubzz has redesigned and remastered the open world, which is now denser, darker, and more dangerous than ever. Dynamic weather, drivable vehicles, and unpredictable hazards ensure that no two survival stories unfold the same way.
The 1.0 launch delivers sweeping overhauls shaped by community feedback, reinforcing the game’s identity as a deeply customizable survival sandbox. Revamped skill trees and professions enable deeper customization and risky multiclassing, while the new infection system spreads in real time, forcing swift decisions or a grim transformation into a monster. Zombie variants are more aggressive and unpredictable, demanding constant adaptation, especially in the high-stakes Permadeath Mode, while extensive world and survival settings let players define just how harsh or forgiving the apocalypse becomes.
