The Mental Health Department’s current facility on Clayton Ave. will officially close on Wednesday, February 18 at 7 p.m. The department has coordinated with its partners at Contact Communities ensuring that phone coverage during the moving period is uninterrupted. Those who call the facility during the 18 and 19, Contact Communities will triage calls.

Cortland County says they remain committed to ensuring access to critical mental health support remains during the transition process to the new facility. Crisis services will continue to be available, and community members experiencing a mental health crisis during this time are strongly encouraged to utilize 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, which is available 24/7 for immediate support.
