DICK Johnson Racing’s lucky charm is back for Round 1 of the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship.
OTR bonnets will return to the Shell V-Power Mustangs for this week’s action at Sydney Motorsport Park.
Long known for rolling with consistent colour schemes year after year, DJR in 2025 showed itself to be more open to changing its spots.
That started with a move to a white base livery, adopting a red Jet Couriers look for Taupō, and introducing a black OTR bonnet for The Bend and Adelaide.
As it panned out, those events with livery tweaks accounted for four of DJR’s five podiums last season – and both events with the OTR twist proved victorious for Brodie Kostecki.
Kostecki’s #17 and Rylan Gray’s #38 will hit the track at SMP tomorrow along with the rest of the main game field for the first half of pre-season testing.
The second half will unfold on Thursday night.
