Steam is updating user reviews to include PC hardware specs, giving players a clearer picture of game performance, especially handy as game prices and PC upgrades get more expensive.
Currently available in Steam’s latest beta, this feature appears as a checkbox called Attach PC Specs to this review. Users can create a reusable profile for their hardware, allowing the specs to be automatically included in future reviews.
Another feature in the beta allows users to share anonymized framerate data, which should help Steam better understand game compatibility and improve the platform.
You can now add feedback if you disagree with a Deck Verified rating. The beta update also includes various bug fixes and improvements, which you can learn more about here.
