Auckland FC have destroyed Wellington Phoenix 5-0 in their A-League derby clash in Wellington.
Wellington’s chances of their first-ever win against their northern rivals hit a sour note early with a bizarre goalkeeping error in the 24th minute.
Goalie Josh Oluwayemi was caught out of position under a long clearance kick from a rival defender. Unable to stop the ball, he brushed it into his own net.
The Phoenix equalled their worst-ever loss at home.
