Fire and Emergency has responded to a grass fire in Otago.
A grass fire in Central Otago has threatened homes and caused crews from at least six stations to respond.
A Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson said firefighters were alerted to a fast-moving grass fire threatening homes in Springvale, just outside Clyde, about 3.25pm.
“Crews from Cromwell, Ōmakau, Alexandra, Blackstone, Clyde
and as far as Dunedin are trying to get the blaze under control,” the spokesperson said.
