BRYCE Fullwood will get back to basics via a return to grassroots racing this weekend at Ipswich.
Having spent the past six seasons full-time in the Supercars Championship, Fullwood is a free agent in 2026.
In fact, he is yet to even officially be announced for a Ryco Enduro Cup co-drive, but is tipped to remain part of the wider Brad Jones Racing fold.
The 27-year-old contested the Bathurst 12 Hour earlier this month aboard a Volante Rosso Aston Martin and now has been unveiled as the headline name in the SuperMini Challenge’s season-opener at Queensland Raceway.

V8 Sleuth understands it’s predominantly intended to be a casual weekend of fun for Fullwood as he continues to plot the next step in his career.
Fellow Supercars outcast Zane Goddard, coincidentally, has also popped up on occasion in the SuperMini arena, including at Bathurst in 2024.
Fullwood won the 2019 Super2 title and has chalked up three Supercars Championship podiums to date.
