The “Mamma Mia” star told “The Scott Mills Breakfast Show” that although it’s not actually visible in the film, she wore a “prosthetic butthole” in the nude scene. “This movie, it needed to be graphic, so, like, I had a prosthetic butthole,” she said, adding, “It was cool, it was exciting. I was pregnant and naked, but I wasn’t naked at all.”
Seyfried clarified that audiences can’t see the prosthetic, but said, “I swear there is a prosthetic butthole there.” As for why she wore the piece despite it not being shown on camera? “Just in case. Gotta get people to the theater!” Seyfried said.

The film is a musical drama, based on the true story of Ann Lee, an 18th-century English woman who created the Shaker religious sect after moving to America.
Seyfried earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her performance, although Rose Byrne won the award for her role in “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.” The film currently has a score of 87% on Rotten Tomatoes and an 82% Popcornmeter.
