Zazie Beetz takes down a pair of cultists before being confronted by Patricia Arquette in the kinetic first clip from They Will Kill You, courtesy of IGN.
From New Line Cinema and Nocturna, the gory horror-action-comedy hits theaters on March 27 via Warner Bros.
Beetz stars as a young woman who must survive the night at the Virgil, a demonic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a uniquely brazen, big screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humor.
Myha’La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, and Heather Graham round out the cast.
Kirill Sokolov (Why Don’t You Just Die!) directs from a script he co-wrote with Alex Litvak (Predators).
IT filmmaker Andy Muschietti produces alongside Barbara Muschietti and Dan Kagan. Executive producers include Sokolov, Litvak, Russell Ackerman, John Schoenfelder, and Carl Hampe.
Premiering at SXSW in Texas on March 17, They Will Kill You is rated R for “strong bloody violence, gore, language, and brief sexual content/nudity.”
