Akaisha Vats is on a roll. After making an impressive debut with Andaaz 2 (2025), she managed to be a part of the biggest Hindi hit of all time, Dhurandhar (2025). She played the role of Uzair Baloch’s (Danish Pandor) wife in the Ranveer Singh-Akshaye Khanna starrer and now she’s gearing up for the release of Jai Hind Jai Sindh. Bollywood Hungama attended it’s press conference in Dehradun and exclusively spoke to the talented and beautiful actress about these films and a lot more.
EXCLUSIVE: Andaaz 2 actress Akaisha Vats signs Dharmatic’s next; opens up on her “ACCIDENTAL” appearance in Dhurandhar: “I felt my part will be removed from the film; grateful to be a part of it”
Akaisha Vats began by saying, “Jai Hind Jai Sindh is about love and a lot more. I have had a great experience until now. It was magical. I had never expected that I’ll get to work in such a message-oriented film. Moreover, the casting is brilliant. I have got a huge chance to work with legendary actors. I was initially nervous but they made me feel like I have known them for years. They are so kind and talented. That’s why they have reached this position.”
She added, “A lot of my scenes are with Jaya Prada ma’am. It was my second or third day of shoot when I had to share screen with them. But she put me at ease.”
When asked about Dhurandhar, Akaisha revealed, “I signed the film for something else. But due to some reasons, it didn’t happen. It was accidental actually.”
She continued, “I had expected that my part will not be retained in the film. Nevertheless, I am grateful to be a part of it.”
As for Andaaz 2, she said, “The film served it’s purpose for me. I am lucky that I have got a chance to work with some of the most talented directors, first Suneel Darshan sir and now Indrajit Lankesh in Jai Hind Jai Sindh. I feel like bhagwan ka haath hai mere oopar!”
Regarding her journey, she opined, “A lot of people scared me but I have been treated very well. I have been meeting prominent directors and giving auditions.”
During the press conference, Indrajit Lankesh let the cat out of the bag by revealing that Akaisha Vats has signed Dharmatic Entertainment’s upcoming venture.
