Britain’s Got Talent audiences received a warning as a controversial performance unfolded this evening (February 28), causing visible discomfort amongst the judging panel.

The performing pair, Baron and Vesper, prompted spectators to shield their faces and left judges visibly uncomfortable as they inserted hooks into different parts of their bodies to rotate and soar through the air. During one particularly grisly moment, one performer hung suspended by hooks threaded through their partner’s nipples and earlobes.

Co-presenter Declan Donnelly was heard stating: “Obviously don’t try this at home, it’s very dangerous,” whilst an on-screen alert appeared advising viewers against attempting to replicate what they were witnessing.

“Even you’re shocked” remarked judge Alesha Dixon, turning towards KSI, who had maintained his composure until the performance intensified and nipples featured in the routine.

When the hook-pierced performer began moving towards the judges’ table with his partner still suspended, Amanda fled, exclaiming: “Oh my God he’s coming, he’s coming” scarcely able to observe the spectacle. “I don’t know what to look at,” KSI remarked, reports the Mirror.

Despite the extreme nature of their routine, the pair received a standing ovation from spectators. Co-presenter Ant McPartlin, observing from the wings, noted: “That’s something we haven’t seen before and we’ve seen almost everything on this show.”

Sharing her thoughts on the performance, judge Alesha remarked: “I found it difficult to watch, and weird and brilliant,” whilst Amanda Holden commented: “It looked awful in the best way,” quickly recovering from the audience’s disapproval by adding: “It was horrifically brilliant.”

The duo secured approval from both Amanda and Alesha, whilst KSI voted against them. Simon held the crucial vote, deferring to the audience whose enthusiastic response secured their progression to the next stage.

Those watching from home also found the act challenging to witness, with opinions sharply divided. One frustrated viewer declared: “This needs to stop in the bedroom, not on TV,” whilst another stated: “That’s not talent, that’s just stupidity.”

“Well I’ll not try that at home,” joked another audience member, as one pleaded: “MAKE IT STOP!”

“Don’t know whether to clap or cry or to gag or to do all three?” questioned one bewildered viewer. “I feel physically sick,” wrote another. Meanwhile, one intrigued viewer pondered: “How does one discover they can do this?”
