Sky has announced some changes to a variety of its channels, including the permanent closure of three which will be removed today (March 2).
That’s 80s, That’s Oldies and That’s Melody all ceased broadcasting from 23.59 on February 28 but today, they will all be removed from the EPG (Electronic Programme Guide), a Sky employee has shared.
Three more channels are expected to rebrand from today too, including Nick Jr. Too, Nicktoons and Sky Ghostbusters.

On Sky Community’s page, a Sky employee known as KevNewMedia, has shared this week’s updates.
For March 2, he shared that Nick Jr. Too (Satellite 612 – Glass/Stream 208 Glass) will rebrand to Nick Jr. Peppa in a temporary change.
Nicktoons (Satellite 605 – Sky Glass/Stream 206) will temporarily rebrand to Nick Alvinnnn!!! and Sky Ghostbusters (Satellite 303 – Sky Glass/Stream 303) will change its name to SkyBookDayHD temporarily.
That’s 80s (Satellite 359), That’s Oldies (Satellite 360) and That’s Melody (Satellite 361) will all close permanently, with the channels being removed from the EPG today.

The list of changes is updated weekly, a week ahead, but things may change.
These aren’t the first changes made by Sky this year, as it said goodbye to one of its major channels in January.
Sky News at Ten removed from air after 27 years
Sky News at Ten has aired every night at 10pm for 27 years, bringing Brits all the major headlines from throughout the day.
But Sky revealed that it would be the last time viewers could watch the news programme in January, with it being replaced by a new show called The Wrap.

Following the final episode, Sky News posted on X, saying: “That’s it for Sky’s News at Ten, which ends tonight, after 27 years.
“Starting Monday, a new-look broadcast will focus on debating, analysing and making sense of the day’s news, and will run from 10pm until midnight.”
