Two major Spider-Man villains are getting reimagined in 2026.
In a new post from Omelete to promote CCXP 2026, the Spider-Noir series is being used to market the event, revealing new shots of the characters from the show. Two of the players featured include the new live-action takes on Electro and Sandman, respectively. Check it out below:

Spider-Man Villains In Spider-Noir
Jack Huston has been tapped to bring Flint Marko to life, making him the second actor in live-action to play Sandman after Thomas Haden Church’s big screen iteration in Spider-Man 3 and Spider-Man: No Way Home. As of right now, the actor, who is seemingly playing Electro, has yet to be identified.
The Marvel drama will unravel a new spin on the web-crawler’s mythology, with Nicolas Cage playing Marvel’s Ben Reilly instead of Peter Parker, which will be explained in the series. The Hollywood star first voiced Spider-Man Noir in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, as a Peter variant from another universe.
Another Marvel villain who gets highlighted in Omelete’s CCXP 2026 marketing is Silvermane, who will be played by Brendan Gleeson, marking the character’s live-action debut. The Spider-Noir TV show will take place in the 1930s, with Cage’s hero being referred to as The Spider.
The CCXP 2026 designs also give another look at Li Jun Li as Cat Hardy, who may or may not have some Black Cat connections. There is a fifth player, as a man in a pink business suit and vest can be spotted, but it’s unclear who he is meant to be in Spider-Noir.
Given the mobster direction of Spider-Noir, it’s possible that this could be a reimagined incarnation of Marvel’s Hammerhead, a classic Spider-Man villain, but that has yet to be confirmed. The potential cast member could be Abraham Popoola’s mystery player, as his character was described as “a World War I veteran who is looking for an opportunity to get ahead” when he was first cast.
MGM+ will first debut Spider-Noir on May 25 domestically before all eight episodes arrive on Prime Video globally as of May 27.
