More than 850 homes are without power after a car crashed into a power pole north of Whangārei this afternoon.
An update on Northpower’s website stated 861 customers in Te Kamo and Kauri had no power.
“We will not have an estimated time of restoration until the
work required has been assessed,” the update said.
