Hot favourite Well Written has secured the perfect barrier draw for Saturday’s $4 million NZB Kiwi at Ellerslie.

The unbeaten filly drew barrier two for the 1500m slot race during Tuesday night’s barrier draw function at the Karaka Sales complex.

It is ideal for her as she has the early
speed to use barrier two without jockey Matt Cartwright’s hand being forced, which it could have been had she drawn barrier one.
