As royal romance announcements go, it doesn’t get more chic than Paris Fashion Week. Victoria Federica, the niece of King Felipe of Spain, clearly agrees, with the social media influencer choosing the Dior show as the hard launch of her long-rumoured relationship with nightlife scion Jorge Navalpotro.
The pair have been hinting at their romance for a while now, first by posting Instagram photos of their hands, then by sharing some snapshots of an outing in Madrid. It wasn’t until they took to the streets of Paris, though, that Victoria and Jorge appeared in public for the first time together. Always an icon of Gen Z royal style, Victoria wore a denim shirt and brown blazer, while her new boyfriend walked by her side in a sharp suit and sunglasses.

Born on 9 September 2000, Victoria Federica de Marichalar y Borbón is the younger child and only daughter of Infanta Elena and Jaime de Marichalar. The Infanta is the older sister of King Felipe VI of Spain, and is the former King Juan Carlos’s eldest child. At the time of Victoria’s birth, she was third in the line of succession, after her mother and elder brother, Felipe, but following the birth of her cousins, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, she is fifth, with her aunt, Infanta Cristina, coming after her.
She spent her teenage years at boarding school in Sussex before enrolling at the College for International Studies (CIS) in Madrid, where she studied business administration and management. She is known to be a fan of bull-fighting, regularly attending shows at the Las Ventas bullring in Madrid.
