A motorcyclist has been killed in a serious crash near Levin.
The accident on Foxton Shannon Rd happened about 9.40am.
Police said emergency teams rushed to the area between Himatangi Block and Poplar Roads, initially reporting serious injuries.
They have since confirmed the crash involved a single motorcycle, with the
rider dying at the scene.
