Kia New Zealand has issued a recall for a number of its electric models, citing an issue with the digital cluster.
The recall concerns EV3, EV4, EV5, and EV6 vehicles from the 2025 model year only.
Issued late last week, the statement reads:
“The instrument clusters (Digital) may begin to operate slowly while driving. This recall involves an upgrade of the cluster module software to improve operation.”
Kia New Zealand has stated owners of affected vehicles will be contacted.
“If notified of vehicles inclusion in the recall, contact nearest Kia dealer directly to arrange a time to have the recall completed. – Please do not call Kia NZ head office as they cannot make bookings.”
