Passengers using TFI Local Link services in County Donegal can now pay their fares using contactless cards.

The system, introduced by the National Transport Authority, allows customers to use debit or credit cards, as well as mobile payments like Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The rollout follows the introduction of the technology on Local Link services in County Sligo and County Leitrim last month.

It means the entire network managed by TFI Local Link in the North West now offers quicker and more convenient ways to pay for single journeys.
