Shay Mitchell will soon be slow-motion running on the sand, as she is the latest actor to join the cast of Fox’s “Baywatch” reboot.
The “Pretty Little Liars” star will play Trina, a former lawyer who walked away from a white-shoe law firm to become a full-time lifeguard. Per the character description, “Trina is the sharpest mind on Baywatch. Passionate and dedicated, she tends to follow her heart… even if she often uses her considerable intelligence to second guess herself.”
The “Baywatch” reboot will air as part of Fox’s 2026-2027 broadcast lineup. Joining Mitchell on the beach are Stephen Amell, who plays the lead role of Hobie Buchannon, a grown-up version of the wild child from the original series, and Jessica Belkin as his daugher Charlie Vale.
