I’ve never thought of the Indiana Jones soundtrack to be the greatest mood setter on a date, but here we are. Apparently it’s … sexy.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel this week, star of the cult movie franchise and film icon, Harrison Ford, made a joke about using the background tunes from some of his famous films to get things happening in the bedroom.

It all started when the talk show host played a clip from the 83-year-old actor’s Apple TV series Shrinking, where his therapist character enters a room proudly humming the famous Indiana Jones theme song.

Jimmy asked Harrison if the rumours about him surprising fellow cast mates with that moment was true. Unfortunately the star confessed he didn’t remember if the scene was improvised or not.

“Maybe you’ll remember this… Have you ever made love to the soundtrack of one of your films? Maybe Witness?” he then asked.

With a brief pause and nervous giggles heard from the audience, the actor answered the cheeky joke with: “Of course I have!”

Known for his dry sense of humour, some found it hard to tell if Harrison was indeed being serious or just playing along to the silly question. Either way, Jimmy acknowledged the awkwardness of his line of questioning, admitting it was “dumb.”

Still, when the clip was shared online, fans couldn’t get enough.

“Love how Harrison pauses and ‘thinks’ before answering that ridiculous question. His sense of humour is unmatched,” one fan commented on Facebook.

“Harrison is the best. I love his dry humour. Especially his convenient memory loss,” another laughed.

And another added: “He is the greatest! His body might be ageing, but his mind is still young. I have made love to a soundtrack from one of his films! Who hasn’t?”

The Star Wars veteran is currently married to Ally McBeal star Calista Flockhart. The pair met in 2002 and married eight years later.

They share a son, Liam, 25, whom Harrison adopted shortly after marrying Calista.

He also has two older sons Benjamin, 59, and Willard, 56, whom he welcomed when married to his first wife Mary Marquardt, and also shares another son Malcolm, 38, and daughter Georgia, 35, with his second wife Melissa Mathison.

While they’ve mostly kept their marriage out of the spotlight, the star couple stepped out at the recent Actor Awards, where Harrison was handed the Life Achievement Award.

He described Calista as his “extraordinarily beautiful wife” during his emotional acceptance speech.
