One person was taken to Dunedin Hospital with serious injuries after a crash between a car and motorcycle north of the city yesterday evening.
The crash happened in Osborne Rd, near Purakaunui School Rd, and police were called about 6.20pm, a spokeswoman said.
A Hato Hone St John spokeswoman said a patient was transported to hospital in a serious condition and another was assessed at the scene for minor injuries.
In Invercargill, police were called about 12.20am today regarding a report of a car crashing into a garage in St Andrew St.
No injuries were reported, a police spokeswoman said.
