A road in Palmerston North has reopened following a crash involving four vehicles earlier today.

Emergency services were called to the four-vehicle crash at the intersection of Rangitikei Line and Flygers Line just before 8.30am.

“Two people are being taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries,” a police spokesperson said.

Motorists were advised to use alternative routes while the road was closed.

It has since reopened, according to New Zealand Transport Agency Waka Kotahi’s online journey planner map.
