A MAFS Australia bride has been urged to ‘run’ following the programme’s latest bombshell that revealed her husband’s ‘fatphobic’ views.
Model Brook Crompton, 27, married construction worker Chris Nield, 31, at the start of this year’s social experiment. Whilst Chris was originally doubtful about the entire process, he appears to be developing feelings for his new spouse.
Nevertheless, the brand new Revelations Week twist has triggered mayhem between the couple. The segment debuted in Wednesday’s (March 18) episode, featuring each pair undertaking various challenges designed to strengthen their connections.
For their initial challenge, Chris and Brook viewed one another’s audition videos separately. Whilst Brook’s footage was fairly innocuous, Chris’s recording revealed his harsh remarks about “fat people”.

Brook was left ‘disgusted’ by Chris’s comments about “fat people(Image: Channel 4)
When outlining his pet hates, Chris informed producers: “Fake tan’s massive, I hate seeing orange hands. If I can see orange, yuck! Most people with a fake tan are insecure,” reports OK!.
He continued to confess that he’s “a little bit picky” regarding the women he pursues romantically. Producers subsequently asked the groom to outline his “turn offs”.
He replied: “Fat people,” before adding: “Fake tan, needy and fat people.”
Brook was appalled by her new partner’s confession, declaring: “I’m f****g appalled. The part about fat people, that to me is disgusting.”
The model wasted no time in challenging her husband. “You’re sitting there and you’re talking to women about women’s bodies. It’s not a comment for you [to make],” she raged.
Brook added: “I think if I saw that at the beginning, I wouldn’t even look at you. I would not even give you a chance.”

Ex-footballer Chris attempted to justify his actions by explaining that he was accustomed to “locker room chat” from his days in sport.
“For me, I think it’s just this mentality that I’ve always had of being around the boys and trying to impress everyone,” he explained, before clarifying that he would never make such a comment directly to a woman.
Brook dismissed his attempts to smooth things over and confessed: “Honestly, I’m a little icked.” The bride then stormed out of their shared flat and rang her sister Jesse for advice.
After detailing the situation, her sister delivered a harsh judgement: “You should run. Don’t waste your time with someone who thinks so poorly of women.”
Despite the turbulent day, Brook still holds out hope for her relationship. However, she admits she’s unsure how they can move forward.
Married At First Sight Australia continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on E4 and streaming on Channel 4.
