Meghan has made a major announcement about her future plans just a day after bruising allegations surfaced about her relationship with Netflix.

The Duchess of Sussex shared behind-the-scenes pictures of herself and her four-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, on Instagram on Wednesday to promote As Ever’s new collaboration with luxury flower company High Camp Supply.

While her face was not in shot, Lilibet – who is the second child of Meghan and Prince Harry – was seen wearing a beige dress with her long red hair worn loose.

“Something is blooming. A new collaboration with @highcampgardenias arrives tomorrow,” the caption on the initial post read. “Sign up for the launch reminder so you don’t miss it.”

In a separate album, shared on Meghan’s personal account, she uploaded a video and two images of “mama’s little helpers”.

The news came just a day after Variety posted an unflattering article about the demise of Netflix’s partnership with Meghan’s lifestyle brand, which it had initially joined forces with early last year.

Despite the positive public statements about the end of the working relationship, sources painted a very different picture of the situation to the industry bible.

Among the unflattering allegations was the claim that Meghan would “disappear” during Zoom meetings when she was offended by a remark.

The insider told Variety that “the mood in the building is, ‘we’re done’”, adding that both Harry and Meghan’s behaviour has “ruffled feathers in meetings”.

However, Meghan’s lawyer hit back at the allegation, pointing out that she “works from home, is the mother of young children aged 4 and 6, and often encounters children who enter the space unexpectedly during a meeting.”

Meanwhile, a spokesman for Netflix told Page Six that the split was always part of the plan.

“Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life,” the statement said.

“As it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world.”

Meghan and Harry negotiated an eye-watering, multimillion-dollar deal with the streaming giant to plenty of fanfare after quitting royal duties in 2020.

They struck major success with their explosive docu-series Harry & Meghan, but struggled to find an audience for their other projects.

With Love, Meghan fared better in the ratings, but was skewered by critics across its two seasons. A one-off holiday special was released in December. The show has not been recommissioned to return for season three, but further ad hoc episodes have not been ruled out.
