On a glittering 10 race card served up to racing fans at Rosehill on Saturday, Arrowfield sires were the dominating force delivering five of the 10 winners and four were G1 winners.
The Australian General Sires List now looks like this with the late champion Snitzel opening up a margin over The Autumn Sun, the two stallions both sired by Arrowfield’s breed shaper Redoute’s Choice… what a legacy.

The $750,000 Group I ATC Rosehill Guineas (2000m) gave Autumn Boy the chance to emulate the success of his sire The Autumn Sun, who won this race in 2019 and retired straight after to stud, hopefully we will see more of Autumn Boy, read about him here.


The $1million ATC Ranvet Stakes (2000m) was won by last year’s dominant ATC Australian Derby winner Aeliana, who might be a Kiwi bred, but has an Aussie flavoured pedigree, read about her here.


The $1million Group I ATC The Galaxy (1100m) was won by last year’s Golden Slipper winner Marhoona, who emulated the achievement of the mighty Luskin Star in being a Golden Slipper to wopme back and win The Galaxy at three, read about her here.
