This includes a new co-working and event space for networking, investor meetings and community events
[SINGAPORE] JTC Corporation is revamping its startup cluster LaunchPad @ one-north with new partnerships and facilities as part of its master plan announced during the recent Budget 2026.
In an event on Wednesday (Mar 25), JTC unveiled a new co-working and event space at LaunchPad called The Meeting Point. This space has been redesigned as a dedicated venue for networking, investor meetings and community events.
Further works are underway to add sports facilities, shelters between blocks and more dining options, among others. The previously announced Kampong AI is also under construction, with pilot workspaces now available. When fully completed in 2028, the artificial intelligence park will have work, play and living spaces.
“This will be our first integrated startup community where AI founders and tech professionals can work and live together at LaunchPad, creating real connections that matter,” said Minister of State for Trade and Industry and National Development Alvin Tan at the launch event.
JTC is also introducing more startup-friendly policies at LaunchPad, such as those that will streamline the onboarding process for incoming startups. These include startups getting a rent-free period of two months as they fit out their spaces, as well as flexible lease terms and shorter notice periods to allow them to adjust their space needs.
The entry criteria will also be expanded beyond early-stage startups to those that are scaling up. This will allow established companies to work alongside startups for innovation and collaboration. Startups will also get access to JTC’s sites across its portfolio to pilot and validate ideas.

New collaborations
In addition, JTC inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with NUS Enterprise, and a joint MOU with industry body Action Community for Entrepreneurship and business school Insead on Wednesday.
These partnerships will grant LaunchPad startups exclusive access to 19 global startup nodes.
NUS Enterprise and Insead will offer access to co-working spaces at overseas hubs, tapping NUS Enterprise’s Block71 overseas outposts. Startups can use these hubs as a base to test product-market fit before deciding to expand to that market.
The National University of Singapore’s entrepreneurial arm will also provide support such as pre-trip preparation, market objective setting, access to community events, and introductions to local investors and customers.
Aside from these agreements, JTC is also partnering Enterprise Singapore under its Global Innovation Alliance initiative to support startups expanding into new overseas markets. More details will be shared in the future, said JTC.
JTC also signed a partnership with local co-working space operator One&Co, allowing LaunchPad startups to access One&Co’s co-working space in the Central Business District. This was designed to give startups flexibility to meet clients, investors and partners in the heart of the city.
LaunchPad Innovation Network (Link) by JTC will also see its scope expand beyond funding to connecting LaunchPad startups with corporates, investors and strategic partners for market opportunities and commercialisation support. Since its launch in 2022, Link has connected more than 60 startups with six partners including JRE Ventures, the venture capital arm of Japan’s JR East railway company.
Four new organisations joined Link on Wednesday – CapitaLand Development, City Developments Ltd, Esri Singapore and SoftBank Robotics. LaunchPad startups can partner these new organisations to pilot solutions.
“We are making it easier for them to set up, opening our doors to scale-ups, and connecting founders to international markets, all from Asia’s most dynamic business hub,” said Yap Eai-Sy, director of the infocomm media and startup division, JTC.
