The Reddit leaks highlight details regarding the voice lines, with a user—who claims to have worked on GTA in audio regression and subtitle validation—stating that, “everyone assumes it’s like GTA V where you have a pool of lines and they just shuffle. it’s not that anymore. it’s structured. like… labeled and categorized at a level i’ve never seen.” The post also notes that there are “hundreds of thousands of recorded lines” for world NPCs. It further highlights that NPCs don’t just deliver a single line, but in some cases are linked together in what resemble mini conversations.

For those unfamiliar, GTA 6 is the next major entry in the long-running Grand Theft Auto series from Rockstar Games. The game centres on two protagonists, Jason and Lucia, and is set in the fictional state of Leonida. The title is currently slated for release on November 19, 2026, and will be available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S.
