The KFactor Podcast by CHYE and COLlive.com is back, now in video format. Host Yehoshua Werde interviews dynamic entrepreneur Moshe Hecht. Video
In Crown Heights, more young people than ever are stepping into the business world — but many are doing so without a clear roadmap.
The KFactor Podcast, an initiative of CHYE (Crown Heights Young Entrepreneurs) & COLlive.com, was created to change that.
Now, with the launch of Season 3 in video format, the platform is expanding its reach and impact, offering a deeper, more personal look into the journeys of entrepreneurs within the community.
“We’re not just sharing success stories,” said Yehoshua Werde, founder of CHYE. “We’re opening up real conversations — the struggles, the uncertainty, the turning points — so people can actually learn what it takes to build something.”
CHYE currently supports over 1,000 entrepreneurs and career seekers each year through one-on-one mentorship, career counseling, educational programming, and events. With an annual budget of approximately $500,000, the organization is now working toward an ambitious goal: doubling its impact in the coming year.
The Season 3 premiere features Moshe Hecht, a dynamic entrepreneur whose journey resonates with many young professionals navigating similar paths.
“A lot of people think you need everything figured out before you start. The truth is, you figure it out by starting.”
In the episode, Hecht reflects on his transition from the Chabad system into the business world and shares practical insights on mindset, resilience, and building a meaningful career.
Season 3 is made possible in part by Ainsworth Gorkin Law, a legal services firm that works closely with small and mid-sized businesses across New York and New Jersey, helping them navigate legal challenges and build strong foundations.
For CHYE, the podcast is just one piece of a larger vision: creating a community where young people feel supported, equipped, and empowered to succeed.
“At the end of the day,” Werde added, “if someone watches an episode and feels more confident taking their next step — we’ve done our job.”
