Vancouver Startup Week is set to return in 2026, bringing together founders, investors, and operators from across British Columbia for a five-day, city-wide celebration of the startup ecosystem.

Running from Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, this year’s edition will feature a packed lineup of community-driven events across Vancouver, blending tactical sessions with high-impact networking opportunities.

The week kicks off Monday with Funded in Vancouver’s Beaver’s Den, a featured session on storytelling in Vancouver tech with VTJ’s William Johnson and Techcouver’s Rob Lewis, and the official Opening Reception & Ecosystem Showcase.

Programming throughout the week reflects the depth and diversity of Vancouver’s startup scene. Tuesday highlights include Techstars’ session on closing fundraising rounds, Invoke’s “Unfiltered Founder” discussion, and Convergence’s Pitch Rodeo. On Wednesday, the focus shifts to community and strategy, with events like the Immigrant Founders’ Conclave, New Ventures BC’s Gender-Smart Investing masterclass, and Launch Academy’s Launch Builders session.

Thursday explores growth and leadership, including Be Pacific’s session on growth by acquisition and RBC Dominion Securities’ discussion on navigating uncertainty, alongside community-driven conversations like Women in Entrepreneurship and Asian Canadians in Food Innovation.

The week wraps on Friday with a mix of community and reflection, starting with a run club meetup hosted by BlueHour Health and Kamino, followed by a VTJ session examining why founders leave Vancouver—and why many return. The event concludes with the VSW 2026 Closing Party.

With a blend of tactical insights, founder-led storytelling, and ecosystem-wide collaboration, Vancouver Startup Week continues to solidify its role as a key anchor event for the city’s tech community—leading into a busy spring that also includes Web Summit Vancouver in May.

Early bird ticket pricing ends March 29, with discounts of up to $90 available before prices increase.
