Sarah Ferguson is alleged to have been obsessed with actor Kevin Costner, a royal author has claimed. The 66-year-old’s reputation is currently in tatters over her connection to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, with royal author Andrew Lownie’s book, Entitled, detailing how Sarah become obsessed with the Hollywood legend.

Sarah was pictured alongside Kevin in 1996, with the royal flying to Hong Kong for a picnic on the Great Wall of China for the opening of his China Club in Beijing. Among the sixty-eight people also flown in were the actors Michael Caine and Kevin Costner.

Speaking of Kevin Costner, Mr Lownie wrote: “After she had plagued [Kevin] with raunchy phone calls, he reputedly told friends, ‘She’s a woman crying out for love’.”

The author also posited that Sarah also had obsessive feelings for George Clooney, John F. Kennedy Jr., and Tiger Woods.

She has dramatically disappeared from view over the scandal surrounding her connection to Epstein.

The most recent ranche of Epstein files, which were released by the US Department of Justice in January, brought Sarah’s spending habits back into the spotlight.

Royal author Ingrid Seward, who met the former duchess more than 40 years ago, recently shared a glimpse into what her spending habits were like and said that she was not surprised at the latest revelations, due to her “massively endearing type of hersponality”.

Ms Seward branded Fergie “almost like a shopaholic” and spoke about her “extravagant lifestyle”.
