Another relationship scandal has come to a Bravo show. Summer House’s Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed their “connection” after rumors of a relationship brewed over the past month. For those who don’t watch people spending every summer getting drunk in the Hamptons, newly single Batula — who is currently divorcing co-star Kyle Cooke — is best friends with Ciara Miller, Wilson’s ex. So their new relationship is a surprise, and to most of the cast, it feels like a betrayal of Miller. Here’s how the cast of Summer House and a few of their Bravo friends feel about Batula and Wilson’s new relationship.

If you had to pick one place to find out your best friend and your ex are dating, it should be a Hermès store. Miller was seen sitting outside a Hermès boutique in New York, visibly emotional, moments before Amanda and West released a joint statement about their relationship on March 31. Ciara also unfollowed both of them on Instagram the same day.

The day the rumors began to swirl, Kyle Cooke, Batula’s ex, shared a photo of himself and Miller with the location tagged “Psych Ward.”

Hubbard took a more comic approach, sharing a photo of Alex from Love Is Blind on Instagram Stories with the caption, “The new publicist?”

One of the newest cast members, Calabrese showed she was Team Ciara by resharing a photo of her on Instagram Stories.

Dillard posted a photo of himself with Miller and Calabrese on Instagram Stories, writing, “I love my big sisters for life.” He also changed up his music tastes, listening to the song

Taylor appropriately used a reaction image of herself to showcase her surprise at Batula and Wilson’s relationship.

Similar to Taylor’s approach, Solomon shared a photo of himself in shock, again on Instagram Stories.

Before the official confirmation, Kroll already shared his disapproval for the relationship, writing, “Pasta and f* your friends exes are apparently so back.”

Aspen criticized Batula and Wilson’s approach to their hard launch, writing, “Imagine making a statement hard launching a ‘connection’ and not even considering apologizing to the person you hurt.”
