Lizzo went on to reveal she felt better after sharing her secret because she spent a long time lying about it, adding, “I feel a weight off of my chest right now. It was so embarrassing. I was in a friend group of girls. We were all girling one night and it was like: ‘Wait, Lizzo are you a virgin?’
“I remember it was so embarrassing. I said: ‘I love the D.’ I said that. And it held me over for a little while.”
Lizzo also opened up about her relationship status, revealing she’s enjoying her relationship with comedian/actor Myke Wright.
She explained they first met in 2016 when they worked together on MTV music series Wonderland but they didn’t start dating until 2021.
The singer said: “We met in 2016. We weren’t dating. We worked on an MTV show together … I was kind of a brat back then … We started dating in like 2021 … We stayed in touch … before starting dating.”
