PetaPixel has partnered with the fine folks at Harper Finch to deliver a tight collection of limited edition merch, featuring new “Film on Location, You Cowards” and LoCA designs, the long-awaited arrival of BiLPH Hunter, and more!
Harper Finch is a curator of some excellent photography-inspired shirts, which is what put them on PetaPixel‘s radar earlier this year. For viewers of the PetaPixel YouTube channel and The PetaPixel Podcast, Chris Niccolls has been sporting some of the brand’s designs for the past couple of months.

After seeing the quality of the materials and uniqueness of the designs, a collaboration between the two brands felt like a no-brainer. These shirts use higher-end fabrics that are super comfortable — they’ll last a long time even when you’ll invariably wear them more.

“If you know, you know. That’s always been the spirit of our shirts, and PetaPixel has that same energy,” Harper Finch says of the collaboration “PetaPixel has always been a staple in the photography world. Partnering with them feels like a full circle moment. The best Harper Finch designs are the ones not everyone gets. It’s like a quiet signal between photographers, and that’s exactly what makes this collaboration work.”
The limited-edition drop features two new longitudinal chromatic aberration (LoCA) designs, a refined new look for “Film on Location, You Cowards,” and the long-awaited arrival of BiLPH Hunter — “birds I’d like to photograph,” of course. The origin of the term came about last year and has been an instant hit among bird photography fans.
“Many of our creative ideas for the show are born from the time spent on the way to filming locations. We brainstorm ideas and make lots of jokes. I believe we were on our way to shoot bird photos for a telephoto lens review, and I mentioned that I’d like to get a photograph of something good that day,” Niccolls says. “I said something to the effect of ‘now that’s a bird I’d like to photograph!’ And then as an obvious reference to the other similarly worded concepts out there, stated ‘A BiLPH!’ Thus was born the catchphrase that has stuck with us ever since.”

Now anyone can search for BiLPHs and let the world know with a hoodie or t-shirt, both available in a range of colors.
“There’s something cool about building for photographers and being recognized by a platform photographers already trust,” Harper Finch adds. “This just feels natural. Harper Finch is for photographers, and PetaPixel is too.”
The Harper Finch x PetaPixel drop is a limited-edition offering that won’t be around for long: just until May 15! Check it out at Harper Finch’s website today!
