The fields for the two big slot races at Cambridge’s Night of Champions are all but finalised.
The seven trotters in the $530,000 TAB Trot were confirmed late last month, as have nine of the 10 runners in the $1m The Race by Sport Nation.
The only slot left is the one owned by Mark Purdon/Chris Ryder.
The ninth and latest slot will be represented by Better Knuckle Up for slot-holder Stonewall Stud.
Trained by the top northern stable of Barry Purdon and Scott Phelan, Better Knuckle Up finished fourth in last year’s New Zealand Cup and has had a win and a second in three starts this year.
The two Slot races will headline what is a stellar card at Cambridge on Friday, April 10.
