Selections from Pierre Robert's vinyl collection to be up for sale

GLENSIDE, Pa. (WPVI) — Fans who grew up listening to the late WMMR DJ Pierre Robert will get an opportunity to purchase a piece of his legacy.

Selections from his personal vinyl collection will be sold for one day only, on April 18, which happens to be “record store day.”

The Vinyl Chickie Record Shoppe in Glenside, Montgomery County, acquired Roberts’ expansive collection, which Robert spent a lifetime curating.

The owner says prices will range from $10 to $150 for rare bootlegs.

Some of the proceeds will go to Robert’s favorite charities.

Robert was found dead in his home in late October. He was 70 years old.
