Now the dust has had a chance to settle on a memorable Inglis Easter it’s worth taking a look back at the most successful pinhooks to be sold at this iconic sale in 2026.

Too DArqn Hot (GB) colt from Enbihaar made $2.2million on his second turn around the Riverside Stables sale ring.

Leading the way was Widden Stud’s Too Darn Hot (GB) colt from Group winning Magnus mare Enbihaar that sold for $2.2million to the bid of Watership Down / McKeever Bloodstock / Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott Racing.

A full brother to Group II winner Too Darn Lizzie he was the second highest priced yearling of the sale and is no stranger to salering limelight.

The Too Darn Hot (GB)  colt topped the Inglis Weanling Sale last year.

Widden also offered him at the Inglis Australian Weanling Sale last year and he topped that sale at $775,000 when bought by Stefan Pardi of Equine Growth Fund Pty Ltd. In that regard, he now has something in common with Autumn Glow, who also topped her weanling sale (MM) before progressing to Inglis Easter where she sold for $1.8million to top that sale too.

Equine Growth Fund Pty Ltd bought three weanlings to pinhook from Inglis last year and all have been profitable with a filly by The Autumn Sun from The King’s Widow also appearing in the table above.

Tasmanian based Grenville Stud produced the next two best pinhooks with a Too Darn Hot (GB) colt from La Magique  selling for $1.3million and a Zoustar colt from Lomandra fetching $900,000. Read about them here.

$850,000 Anamoe colt from I Am Speedy.

Respected New Zealand based pinhookers Lyndhurst Stud got a fabulous result with a colt from the first crop of Anamoe from I Am Speedy that sold for $850,000 to KPW Bloodstock.

The colt was sourced from the Pepper Tree Farm draft at the Magic Millions National Weanling Sale for $180,000 and is the fourth foal of an unraced half-sister by I Am Invincible to Group winner Sweet and Speedy from Group III ATC Adrian Knox Stakes winner Sweet Natalie.
