Disney has announced details on an upcoming Hularious comedy special called “Lisa Ann Walter: It Was An Accident”, which is coming soon to Hulu and Disney+.

Lisa Ann Walter’s long-awaited debut comedy special takes on feral Gen-Xers, self-loathing, and navigating a backsliding America, via the no-filter lens of a grown-ass woman who has been paying attention.

“Lisa Ann Walter: It Was An Accident” is written, performed, executive produced and directed by Lisa Ann Walter, and produced by Art & Industry. Sheryl Lee Ralph, Michelle Caputo, and Shannon Hartman also executive produce.

Over the years, Lisa has appeared in many films, including  “The Parent Trap”, Shall We Dance”, “Bruce Almighty” and “War of the Worlds”, but is probably most well known now for her role in the hit comedy series, “Abbott Elementary.”

This is the latest Hularious comedy special to be released, which features many comedians including Ralph Barbosa, Bill Burr, Chris Distefano, Jim Gaffigan, Zarna Garg, Ilana Glazer, Jessica Kirson, Matteo Lane, Sebastian Maniscalco, Kumail Nanjiani, Atsuko Okatsuka, Frankie Quiñones, Andrew Santino, Roy Wood Jr., and upcoming specials from Nikki Glaser, Hannah Berner and Bobby Lee.

“Lisa Ann Walter: It Was An Accident” will premiere Friday, 15th May 2026, on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S., and on Disney+ internationally.
