Popular reality TV personality Porsha Williams has hard-launched her relationship on camera much to the confusion of her castmates.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star introduced her new “lady friend” to fellow housewives Phaedra Parks, Angela Oakley and Drew Sidora in a sneak peak of episode 2 of the show’s latest season, which premiered on BINGE last week.

“Mmmm, I love these hands!” Phaedra flirtatiously told the newcomer after shaking her hand.
In the teaser clip, Portia could be seen introducing salon owner Patrice “Sway” McKinney to her castmates, who didn’t see it coming.
Portia – who just ended her 15-month marriage to entrepreneur Simon Guobadia in June – even blindsided producers with the impromptu nightclub meeting.
“This is my lady friend, Sway,” Porsha explained in a later confessional when asked by producers. “I am what you call dating. I am in uncharted waters. You can just call me Christopher Columbus.”

The confusion among the ladies is warranted given in episode 1 Portia had another love interest on her arm – a man named Michael ‘Mike’ Anthony, who sat beside her as they flirted and kissed during a dinner party at her house.
Drew wanted answers so when Sway went to order drinks for the ladies at the bar, she asked Portia what was up.
“It’s just a date night. I’m dating,” she explained, adding that her and Mike are just “casual”.
Indeed, her castmates agreed, with Phaedra saying in a confessional that Portia is a “free sprit” and Angela describing Portia as “very fluid individual” who “doesn’t hide her attraction for anybody she’s attracted to”.
Flashback scenes from past RHOA episodes were then shown on screen – one of which featured former housewife and Grammy winner Kandi Burruss accusing Portia of wanting to “eat my p***y until I came” back in 2017.
Another scene from 2021 taken from security cameras then showed former castmate LaToya Ali straddling Porsha while they made out and grinded on each other during a wild bachelorette party for their castmate Cynthia Bailey.
“People had a lot to say about me being with women in the past,” Portia is heard saying in this season’s upcoming episode 2.
“I had a lot to say about me being with women in the past. It’s like, literally the worst kept secret,” she adds of her sexual orientation.
During BravoCon last November, Portia said she was “talking” to two different people – a man and a woman – while admitting she did dip “a toe or two” in the “lady pond”.
Portia has since told Entertainment Tonight that she’s “just doing what feels natural”.
“I really wanted to explore that side of Porsha, and I’m glad I did because I’m really happy,” she told the outlet. “I feel really good about where I am, and my family is very supportive of it.”
