New Zealand’s men’s and women’s national futsal teams have had mixed results overnight at their international tournament in China.

The Futsal Ferns drew 1-1 in the second of their three-match series against hosts China, thanks to a goal from Jamie Evans early in the second half at Lingwu Stadium, Yinchuan.

The result means New Zealand can win the CFA International Women’s Futsal Challenge with a draw or better in the final game on Sunday.
