NASA Artemis Watch 2.0 launches as retro-futuristic Pip-Boy for $129

While the hardware is not nearly as advanced as an Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch, for example, the NASA Artemis Watch 2.0 uses open source firmware that can be customized by users as desired. Not only can the functionality be expanded with apps and watch faces, the firmware also allows access to sensor data and modifications at system level. A USB-C port is available for charging and transferring data.

The CircuitMess NASA Artemis Watch 2.0 is now available at the manufacturer’s online store. The smartwatch costs $129, or €169 including VAT for customers from Europe. Worldwide shipping is free.
