Another standout display in the Warriors’ stunning victory over Melbourne has propelled Jackson Ford back to the top of the Dally M Medal standings.

Ford had 23 runs for 175 metres, made 36 tackles and threw in a try for good measure as the Warriors climbed to second on the ladder with a 38-14 win.

The 28-year-old is playing the best footy of his career as he bids to become just the second Warrior to win the Dally M Medal after Roger Tuivasa-Sheck in 2018.

Cowboys fullback Scott Drinkwater was the only other player to poll the maximum six votes in Round 6 while Bulldogs back-rower Jacob Preston, Raiders centre Simi Sasagi, Sharks hooker Blayke Brailey and Titans duo Keano Kini and Jayden Campbell all grabbed five votes.
