Former Audacy VP/Rock Programming Vince Richards is joining iHeartMedia as Program Director of Classic Rock “Lone Star 92.5” KZPS and Rock “97.1 The Eagle” KEGL Dallas.
Richards departed Audacy last November after seven years with the company. He was Operations Manager for its Sacramento cluster until moving to Dallas in 2020 to program Variety Hits “100.3 Jack-FM” KJKK. He then added the corporate VP duties and programming Classic Hits “98.7 The Spot” KSPF and Alternative “Alt 103.7” KVIL Dallas while giving up KJKK. Richards previously served as National Operations Manager for Townsquare Media from 2013 to 2016 and has served as Operations Manager for Clear Channel’s clusters in Dallas and Houston and Entercom Kansas City. He has also worked in Buffalo, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Springfield IL, and St. Louis during his career.
In his new role Richards will report to EVP/Programming Marc Sherman.
