Harrison Ford said he didn’t realize he was singing the melody to “The Raiders March” (more commonly referred to as the Indiana Jones theme) during a recent episode of Shrinking.

Ford floored the crowd and his fellow cast members upon sharing his realization during a recent cast panel hosted by Apple TV and Variety.

“I didn’t know that … the melody that I was mouthing was from Indiana Jones,” Ford said, which immediately tickled Shrinking co-creator and star Jason Segel.

“You thought you just made it up?!” Segel asked.

“No, I just thought it was some kind of familiar thing that everybody knew,” Ford replied, totally unaware he was 100% correct because the Indiana Jones theme is absolutely a familiar thing everyone knows.

The scene in question features Ford’s character, therapist Paul Rhoades, returning to work after recovering from a brief illness. He sings the start of the Indiana Jones melody to announce his return in a moment which appeared to be a clever nod to Ford’s role as the franchise’s titular character, but was just Ford being an oblivious legend.

“As I told John Williams in a speech at ‘A Tribute to John Williams,’ they played that [expletive] song in the operating room for my … colonoscopy,” Ford continued, not realizing he just shared the most iconic colonoscopy story of all time the same way he didn’t realize he sang THE [EXPLETIVE] INDIANA JONES THEME IN A SCENE ON HIS HIT SHOW.
