HENRICO, Va. (WWBT) – Shoppers at Short Pump Town Center spotted life-size elephant sculptures in the parking lot this afternoon.
The sculptures were part of a multi-day road trip promoting the new Kalahari Resort opening in Spotsylvania in November.
Families walked up to the animal sculptures, took pictures, and participated in the safari journey.
“We are a family-owned resort and we are a family that serves families,” said Brian Shanle, general manager. “We look forward to making those memories where people can relax, not be working and take time to connect whether it’s business meeting we have in our convention centers or families just coming for a little getaway.”
Kalahari will offer family-friendly, all-inclusive experiences with a range of dining options and attractions on site.
The resort will be hiring soon.
