Talk about a good surprise! If you were one of the lucky fucks who attended Frozen Soul‘s show last night, April 17, at The Novo in Los Angeles, CA, I’m so jealous of you. All of you! The death metal Texans just kicked off the US leg of their tour the day before in Sacramento—releasing their new single “Deathweaver” the same day—but they went a lil harder for its second day.

Frozen Soul brought out My Chemical Romance‘s Gerard Way, as a shock to everyone, to join them as they performed “No Place of Warmth.” You can see fan-filmed footage of it below. Now, Way is featured on the studio-recorded version of the single, which is the title track off Frozen Soul’s upcoming new album, due out May 8. Even though he helped out of the song, that didn’t pull away from the surprises nonetheless.

As you watch the video, pay attention to Gerard’s face. The look of love he has as he takes it all in is just precious.
